Day One in Guayaquil


Well it was a very long journey but we finally arrived last night (early this morning) at the Tangara Guest House and got settled in at about 3:30 am. Sr. Annie lives in the same building, but with a different entrance on the opposite side of the building. The place is lovely. Lots of open space, plants and beautiful hand made furniture. If anyone is ever visiting Guayaquil, this would be a great place to stay. We received a warm welcome from Antonio and his staff, Johnny and Michael. They along with sr. Annie met us at the airport in two vans to bring is here. Each of our rooms has a private bath and A/C and wifi! We're gathering for breakfast at 11 am (provided by the staff) then heading over to Casa Damien. Here's a photo of
