Well, I woke up this morning at 3:00 am ready to get up and adam for our early morning flight to Miami from SFO to a message from American Airlines saying that our flight had been cancelled and we had been rebooked on new flights. Stepped into "notification mode" to alert families to go back to bed, stay home, don't go to the airport then, but rather at 7:30 pm tonight!
In addition to having an extra stop on our itinerary (we're now flying to JFK, then MIA and on to Guayaquil), we have more travel time and we lose a day.
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. We'll make the best of the situation, have the day to relax, and meet at the airport tonight!
