This morning, we had breakfast at Hostel Quil, where we are staying. As soon as I walked in Melissa greeted me with an warm abrazo (a hug) and said that she remembered me. Even though I haven't been here in 2 years, we are remembered. See, another reason why these are my people. Another example of radical kinship that Fr. Greg Boyle talks about in his book (see last night's post for the title).
